Chivalry and Auto wallah??

Well folks, back to the daily grind..

But thanks for your enthusiastic comments, I will certainly try to implement all your suggestions and keep the posts coming. But to tell you the truth, magical moments are there all around us, we just need to be present in the moment to find them...

And that is what we lack in the lives we lead, our minds are constantly pulled in several directions and we have no time to savor the moment and be part of it.

Well, enough gyan for the day, let get on with business :)

I was leaving for work in the morning, dressed very foolishly in an off-white churidaar, keeping a wary eye out for the spraying mud and ominously gathering dark rainclouds. I was praying very hard to Varuna, asking Him to rein in the clouds only till an auto deigned to take me to Link Road, Malad, and thats when an auto stopped just beside me and the driver opened the rain flap covering the seat and asked me to sit!! Wonder of wonders!!

Only after I had settled in, did he ask, Kidhar jaana hai, Madam??

This can only be classified as a magical moment and I guess it made my day..

In case, you still need to know, the rainclouds did burst, just a minute after I had got into the auto!!

Wonders will never cease, I tell you!

Magical moment at Lonavla

Let me share a magical moment i experienced yesterday at Lonavla (a small and beautiful hill station near Mumbai).


We (hubby, kiddos and me) had just spent around 2 hours getting drenched in the rain-fed and fast-flowing Tungarli river, and had just started back for home and dry clothes, when I saw a small tea-stall by the roadside, we stopped for steaming cups of chai with biscuits.

The tea was awesome, there was a ghazal by Parveen Sultana on the FM, there were rainclouds all around us and the kids were quiet (too!!). The moment was truly magical and will remain etched on my memory for a long time to come and it was also the inspiration behind this blog!



I truly hope to share many such moments magical and enchanting with all who stop by and hope that they will in some small, tiny way inspire, ease and uplift your life journey.
